WHAT VOLUNTEERS SAY ABOUT IER
"IER is a place of hope: hope of a great education…hope for impoverished families, and the hope of Christ that is transforming lives every day. It was this hope, this light, that drew me to intern at IER. Interning at IER is a beautiful and unique opportunity…the months I lived at IER were filled with endless moments of joy. My time was spent developing cross-cultural friendships, teaching alongside talented Honduran educators, sharing smiles with students, laughing with mission groups, trying new foods and learning from every moment. I learned what true service looks like from people who have dedicated their lives to faithfully follow Jesus, more about my own unique talents and calling, about God’s never-failing provision and love for all His people, but especially for the poor, and how to trust God more than I ever had before. You’ll never know what God has in store for you unless you say “yes” to the opportunities He has placed before you. Go. Do. Serve. Say “yes” with your whole heart. You will not be disappointed."
